Valmer Barnes 
Valmer was born on November 16th, 1895 in Tyler Co. Texas. Valmer's father is Samuel W. Barnes and his mother was Matilda Demarious Platt. His maternal grandfather is Rasamus Platt and his maternal grandmother was Nancy A. D. Graham. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Travis A., Robert, Lawrence, Lola and Essie Mae. He was the oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 81 on December 3rd, 1976 in Tyler Co. Texas.-
