David Allen 
David was born in 1778 in Kentucky. David's father was John Benjamin Allen and his mother was Sarah Jane Sommers. His maternal grandparents are Matthias Sommers and Christina Null. He had two brothers named Hiram and Martin C.. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 41 in 1819 in Campbell Co. Kentucky.General Notes
