Gertrude was born on October 13th, 1777 in Macungie, Northampton (later Lehigh County), Pennsylvania.  She died at the age of 88 on October 16th, 1865 in South Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.  She was buried in Cedarville Cemetery, Cetronia, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
