William de Sutton 
William was born in 1217 in Averham or Warsop, Nottinghamshire, England. William's father was Rowland de Sutton and his mother was Alice de Lexington. His paternal grandparents were Hervey IV de Sutton and Mrs. Hervey IV de Sutton; his maternal grandparents were Richard de Lexington and UNKNOWN Matilda. He had a brother named Robert. He was the older of the two children. He died at the age of 51 on August 18th, 1268 in Warsop, Nottinghamshire, England.General Notes
Sir William de Sutton was a knight. He lived at Warsop (Worksop),
Nottinghamshire, and also at Aston le Walls in Northamptonshire. He was
co-heir to his uncle, Henry de Lexington, Bishop of Lincoln.
