Gilbert de Segrave

Gilbert was born before 1289. Gilbert's father was Nicholas de Segrave and his mother was Matilda (Maud) de Lucy. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert II de Segrave and Annabilia de Chaucombe; his maternal grandparents were Thomas III de Multon and Isabel de Bolteby. He had six brothers and two sisters, named John, Nicholas II, Henry, Stephen, Geoffrey, Peter, Eleanor and Annabel. He is the second youngest of the nine children.
