Petronilla was born about 1200 in Dublin, Ireland. Petronilla's father was Walter de Lacy and her mother was Margaret de Braose. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh de Lacy and Rohese de Monmouth; her maternal grandparents were William III de Braose and Maud de St. Valerie de Haye. She had a brother and two sisters, named Gilbert, Katherine and Egidia Giles. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died after November 25th, 1288.General Notes
