Her paternal grandparents were Garcia I Fernandez de Lara and Ava de Riborgaza; her maternal grandfather was Salvador Perez de Castile. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Fernando Sanchezde, Garcia II, Munia Elvira Mayor Sanchez, Trigida and Jimena Sanchez. She was the second oldest of the six children. She died on June 26th, 1026. She was buried in 1026 in Santa Maria de Ripoll.-
