Maria Magdalena was born on June 22nd, 1741 in Emmaus, Macungie Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Maria Magdalena's father was Conrad Wetzel and her mother was Anna Catharine Bayer. Her maternal grandparents were Adam Beyer and Anna Maria. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Johannes, Heinrich, Jacob, Catherina, Gertrude Benigna and Anna Maria. She died after 1772.-
