Blot Sven's birth c. 1050, death in 1087, reign 1084-1087 "He was
possibly the son of Kol. Sven was elected to the throne by the pagans who
wanted the "blot" sacrifice to be resumed. He was the last heathen king
of Sweden and got his nickname from performing the blood sacrifices at
Gamla Uppsala."
