Martin Franklin was born on June 4th, 1867 in Madison, Wisconsin. Martin Franklin's father was Anthony Schmidt and his mother was Barbara Van Sant. He had two brothers and two sisters, named George A, Richard, Pauline and Lorna. He was the youngest of the five children. He died after 1889.General Notes
