John Skidmore

John was born on June 10th, 1736 in Kent, Delaware.  John's father was Joseph Skidmore and his mother was Agnes Anne Caldwell. He had two brothers named Joseph and Andrew.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 73 on October 12th, 1809 in Randolph County, Virginia.

‌John and Mary Magdalena were married in a religious ceremony in 1762 in Pendleton County, Virginia.  They had three sons named James, Levi and John.
