Philip Shaver 
Philip was born on November 11th, 1786 in Hagerstown, Washington County, Maryland. Philip's father was Peter Shaver and his mother was Elisabeth Earhart. His paternal grandparents were George Schaffer and Elisabetha Catherine Miller; his maternal grandparents were Philip Earhart and Mary Funk. He had two brothers and a sister, named George, Jacob and Mary C.. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 92 on August 28th, 1879 in Somerset, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. He was buried in Freidens Cemetery, Somerset, Somerset County, Pennsylvania.-
