Paul Sr. Shaver 
Paul Sr. was born in 1831 in Kanawha County, West Virginia. Paul Sr.'s father was Paul Shaver and his mother was UNKNOWN Humy. He was an only child. He died at the age of 40 in 1871 in Jackson County, West Virginia.
Paul Sr. and Mary J. were married in a religious ceremony on February 2nd, 1865. They had a son and two daughters, named William McClellan, Elizabeth and Anna.
