John II was born in Soulbury, Buckinghamshire or London, England.  John II's father was William Jr. Scarborough and his mother was Agnes King.  His paternal grandparents were William Sr. Scarborough and Agnes Farrar; his maternal grandfather was John King. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert, William III, Joanna and Anne. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Roger, Baldwin and Elizabeth.  He died on July 21st, 1706 in Burnhill, Chequer Alley, London, Middlesex, England.  He was buried in Chequer/Hecker Alley Burial Grounds, Bunhill Fields, London, England.
