Mathias Rickel 
Mathias was born on December 8th, 1786 in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Mathias' father was Michael L. Rickel and his mother was Catherine Blocher. His paternal grandparents were George Michael Rickel and Anna Elizabeth Bosshartin. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Michael B., John Benjamin, Catherine Keresin and Nancy. He died about 1888.-
