Ole Simonsen Remmem 
Ole Simonsen was born in 1709 in Kors parish, Romsdalen, Norway. Ole Simonsen's father was Simon Knudsen Remmem. He had two brothers and a sister, named Knut Simonsen, Erik Simonsen and Marthe Simonsdatter. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 37 in 1746 in Norway.
Ole Simonsen and Guri were married in a religious ceremony before 1727. They had three sons and two daughters, named Tore Olsen, Simon Olsen, Ole Olsen, Ingebrigt Olsdatter and Anna Olsdatter.
