Scott was born on June 18th, 1866 in Sharpsville, Pennsylvania. Scott's father was Jonas James Pierce and his mother was Kate Pritzel. His paternal grandparents were James Jr. Pierce and Chloe Holbrook. He was an only child. He died after 1893.-
