His parentage is disputed by many genealogists. While many insist that he
was the illegitimate son of William the Conqueror, others insist that he
was son of Maud's husband, Ranulph Peverel. Some sources list his death
on 17 APRIL 1113 in England.
‌William the Elder and UNKNOWN were married in a religious ceremony in 1071. They had a son and two daughters, named William the Younger, Adelise and Maud.
