John Newlin 
John was born about 1667 in County Tyrone or Mountmellick, County Queens, Ireland. John's father was Nicholas Newlin and his mother was Elizabeth Paggott. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Nathaniel, Nicholaas, Elizabeth and Rachel. He is the third oldest of the five children.-
