Rhirid was born about 1441 in Middleton Chirbury, Shropshire, England. Rhirid's father was Robert Middleton and his mother was Catherine verch Howel. His paternal grandparents were Ririd ap Dafydd and Cecily Middleton. He was an only child. He died about 1511.-
