Jane Lockwood 
Jane was born in 1738 in North Castle, Westchester County, New York. Jane's father was Joseph Lockwood and her mother was Sarah Hoyt. She was an only child. She died about 1811 in Dutchess County, New York.
Jane and Jonathan III were married in a religious ceremony about 1758. They had six sons and two daughters, named Jonathan IV, Levi, Benjamin, Samuel, Isreal, Solomon, Abby and Mary.
