John Knox

John was born in 1514 in Giffordgate street, Haddington, East Lothian, Scotland.  John's father was William Knox and his mother was Unknown Sinclair of Northrig. He had a brother named William.  He was the older of the two children.  He died at the age of 58 on November 24th, 1572 in Trunk Close, Scotland.  He was buried in Cemetery behind St. Giles Cathedral, Edinburgh, Scotland.

‌John and Marjorie were married in a religious ceremony in 1556.  They had a son named Eleazer.

‌John and Margaret were married in a religious ceremony on March 25th, 1564.  They had three daughters named Martha, Margaret and Elizabeth.
