Ruth Howland 
Ruth was born about 1646 in Kingston, Massachusetts. Ruth's father was John Howland and her mother was Elizabeth Tilley. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Howland and Ann Margaret Aires; her maternal grandparents were John Tilley and Elizabeth Carver. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John, Joseph, Jabez, Isaac, Hannah, Desire, Hope, Elizabeth and Lydia. She was the second youngest of the ten children. She died before October 16th, 1679.-
