Sarah was born on December 28th, 1777 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Sarah's father was Comfort Horton and her mother was Joanna Wood. Her maternal grandparents were Jabez Jr. Wood and Joanna Short. She was an only child. She died at the age of 78 on May 13th, 1856 in Rehoboth, Massachusetts.-
