Rachel Horner 
Rachel was born in February 1831 in Virginia. Rachel's father was William Horner and her mother was Lydia Cottrell. Her maternal grandparents were William Cottrell and Rachel Hughes. She was an only child. She died at the age of 40 in 1871 in Roane County, West Virginia. She was buried in Shaver Cemetery, farm near head of Robinson Run.General Notes
