Lydia Ann was born before 1850. Lydia Ann's father was John Hiatt and her mother was Martha Elizabeth Tansy. Her paternal grandparents were Evan Hiatt and Sarah Smith. She has two brothers and two sisters, named Arthur Tansy, Joseph Smith, Elizabeth and Lucy. She is the youngest of the five children.-
