Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Hanks and Ann Lee; her maternal grandparents were Robert Jr. Shipley and Sarah Rachel Dorsey. She was an only child. She died at the age of 34 on October 5th, 1818 in Little Pigeon Creek, Gentryville, Perry/Spencer County, Indiana.General Notes
