John A. George 
John A.'s father was Thomas George and his mother was Catherine McCoy. His maternal grandfather was William McCoy. He had two brothers and nine sisters, named William, Thomas Lewis, Mary, Sarah, Elizabeth, Catherine, Cynthia, Della, Jane, Malinda and Margaret. He died about 1860.General Notes
