Judith of the West was born in 0844.  Judith of the West's father was Charles II the Bald of France and her mother was Ermentrude of Orleans.  Her paternal grandparents were Louis I the Fair the Pious Aquitaine of France and Judith the Fair of Bavaria; her maternal grandfather was Eudes (Odo) of Orleans and her maternal grandmother is Engeltrude of Paris. She had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles of, Lothar the Lame of the West, Carloman of St. Medard, Carloman of St. Medard, Louis II the Stammerer of, Ermentrude (Hersent) of, Rothilde, Gisele of the West and Hildegard of the West. She had three half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Drogo of the West, Charles of the West, Pippin of the West, Rothilde of the West and Roheut (Rothaut) of.  She died after 0870.
