Ellen was born in 1467 in Ukinton, Cheshire, England. Ellen's father was John Donne and her mother was Elizabeth Weaver. Her paternal grandparents were John Donne and Cecily Troutbeck; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Weaver and Elizabeth Fitton. She had a half-sister named Anne. She died about 1537.-
