Frederik I Oldenburg of was born on October 7th, 1471.  Frederik I Oldenburg of's father was Christian I Oldenburg of Denmark and his mother is Dorothea von Brandenburg Hohenzollern.  His paternal grandparents were Dietrich von Oldenburg and Hedwig von Holstein.
