John Conrad 
John was born in 1769 in Augusta (now Pendleton County), Virginia. John's father was Ulrich Jr. Conrad and his mother was Elizabeth Dresler. His paternal grandfather was Ulrich Conrad and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Langenegger. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Jacob, Woolery, George, Adam, Peter, Henry, Barbara, Catherine and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 62 on May 29th, 1831 in Pickaway County, Ohio.-
