John Chalfant 
John was born on May 8th, 1660 in England. John's father was Robert Chalfant and his mother was Lydia Barnard. His paternal grandparents were Christopher Chalfant and Elizabeth Paynter; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Barnard and Elizabeth Bayes. He had a brother and a sister, named Henry and Margaret. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 65 on August 15th, 1725 in Chester County, Pennsylvania.-
