Bessie Carper 
Bessie was born on September 8th, 1890 in Raleigh County, West Virginia. Bessie's father was Luther Carper and her mother was Tamsia Lore. She was an only child. She died at the age of 68 on December 8th, 1958 in Raleigh County, West Virginia.
‌Bessie and Isaac Ervin were married in a religious ceremony on July 18th, 1906. They had four sons and eight daughters, named Howard Wilton, Bernard Isaac, Elmer Leonard, Living, Nellie Virginia, Lyla E., Cleo Belle, Eliza Elizabeth, Margaret, Mary Ellen, Living and Living.
