Anna Maria Elizabeth was born in August 1738 in Aboard the ship, WINTER GALLEY on way to America. Anna Maria Elizabeth's father was Johan Wilhelm Best and her mother was Anna Susanna Schaeffer. Her maternal grandparents were Adam Schaeffer and Anna Margretha Weiland. She had a brother and a sister, named Johan Wilhelm Jr. and Anna Susanna Catharina. She was the youngest of the three children. She died at the age of 43 in 1781 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.-
