His paternal grandparents were Matthew Wing and Mary Gulliver; his maternal grandfather was Stephan Bachiler and his maternal grandmother is Deborah Bates. He had two brothers and a sister, named Daniel, Stephan and Deborah. He died at the age of 86 on August 10th, 1699 in Barnstable, MA.-
