His paternal grandfather was Thomas White and his paternal grandmother is Unknown; his maternal grandfather was William Smith and his maternal grandmother is Katherine Porter. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Charles, Roger, Thomas, Thomas Roger, Edward, Bridget, Catherine, Frances and Jane. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died in Plymouth, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts.-
