David Spencer 
David was born on October 20th, 1802. David's father was John Spencer and his mother was Susanna Lightfoot. His paternal grandfather was Samuel Bond Spencer and his paternal grandmother is Hanna Boyd; his maternal grandparents were William Lightfoot and Mary Ferris. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, William, Aquilla, Mary, Hannah, Sarah, Susanna and Lydia. He is the second youngest of the nine children.-
