William Shelley 
William was born in 1480 in Clapham, England. William's father was John Shelley and his mother was Elizabeth Michelgrove. His paternal grandparents are John Shelley and Beatrice Hawkwood; his maternal grandparents are John Michelgrove and Mary Sidney. He had four brothers and three sisters, named John, Richard, Edward, George, Elizabeth, Joanna and Anne. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 69 on May 10th, 1549 in Sussex, England.-
