Stephen Pace Pierce 
Stephen Pace was born about 1760 in Goochland, Virginia. Stephen Pace's father was Josiah Pierce and his mother was Elizabeth Britt. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Pace and Ann Basford; his maternal grandfather was John Britt and his maternal grandmother is Miss Holman. He had a brother and two sisters, named Newsome Pace, Susannah and Unnamed. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died in 1807 in Mecklenburg, Virginia.-
