William was born on February 28th, 1755 in Letterkenny, Cumberland, PA.  William's father was James Kelly and his mother was Miss Hamilton. He had three brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Samuel, Margaret, Catherine and Polly.  He died at the age of 82 on October 15th, 1837 in Worth, Centre, PA.


William's family with Jane Moore

‌William and Jane were married in a religious ceremony on May 8th, 1783 in Path Valley, Fannett, PA.  They had three sons and three daughters, named James, William Moore, Robert, Mary, Sarah Polly and Catherine.
