Candice was born on March 10th, 1886 in NC. Candice's father was See ESQUIRE J. IRWIN and her mother was Caroline Andrews. Her paternal grandfather is William M. Irwin and her paternal grandmother was Nancy Andrews; her maternal grandparents are James Andrews and Elizabeth Crouse. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Mack M., John Preston, Ollie, Ellen, Rosa, Jennie, Alice and Celia. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 90 on February 22nd, 1977 in Alleghany Co., NC.-
