Samuel Worthen Ingalls 
Samuel Worthen was born on June 28th, 1808 in Allegheny Co., NY. Samuel Worthen's father was Samuel Ingalls and his mother was Margaret Delano. His paternal grandparents were Jonathan Ingalls and Martha Jane Locke; his maternal grandparents are Jonathan Delano and Anne Ladd. He had five brothers named Hiram, Aaron, Benjamin, John W. and Lansford Whiting. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 52 on May 20th, 1861 in Fairfield, Grundy, IA.-
