Robert was born about 1329 in Norbury, Cheshire, England. Robert's father was Robert Hyde and his mother is Margaret Stavelegh. His paternal grandfather was John De Hyde and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Davenport; his maternal grandfather is Robert De Stavelegh. He had three brothers named William, Richard and John. He was the oldest of the four children. He died before 1439.-
