William Hastings 
William was born about 1130 in Fillongley, Warwickshire, England. William's father was Hugh Hastings and his mother is Erneburgh De Flamville. His paternal grandfather was Walter Hastings and his paternal grandmother is Hawise; his maternal grandfather is Hugh Erneburgh. He had three brothers and a sister, named Richard, Thomas, Philip and Milicent. He was the oldest of the five children. He died about 1165.-
