Stephan Gifford 
Stephan was born in 1687 in Dartmouth, Bristol, Massachusetts. Stephan's father was Robert Gifford and his mother was Sarah Wing. His paternal grandparents were William Gifford and Elizabeth Grant; his maternal grandparents were Stephan Wing and Sarah Briggs. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Nathan, Jeremiah, Benjamin, Timothey, Simeon, Mary, Rebecca, Anne and Lydia. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 61 in December 1748.-
