Gilbert De Venables 
Gilbert was born in 1154 in Venables, Normandy, France. Gilbert's father was Gilbert De Venables and his mother is Margery De Hatton. His paternal grandfather is Gisilbert Venables; his maternal grandfather is Walthew Fitzwolfrith. He had six brothers and three sisters, named William, Hugh, Hamon, Michael, Robert, Hugh, Amabilia, Amabilia and Maud. He is the fifth youngest of the ten children.
