Matilda was born in 1232 in Leinster, Dublin, Ireland.  Matilda's father was John De Lacy and her mother was Margaret De Quincy.  Her paternal grandparents were Roger De Lacy and Maud De Clare; her maternal grandparents were Robert de Quincy and Hawise De Meschines. She had a brother and two sisters, named Edmund, Maud and Idonea.  She was the youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 69 on April 11th, 1301 in Grey Friars, Worcestershire, England.  She was buried on May 7th, 1301 in Grey Friars, Worcestershire, England.


Matilda's family with Nicholas De Seagrave

‌Matilda and Nicholas were married in a religious ceremony about 1255 in England.  They had a daughter named Elanor.
