Simon was born in 1334. Simon's father was Robert De Harington and his mother is Elizabeth De Multon. His paternal grandfather was John De Harrington and his paternal grandmother is Margaret Or Juliana Burlingham; his maternal grandfather was Thomas De Multon and his maternal grandmother is Eleanor De Burgh. He had three brothers named John, Robert and Michael. He is the youngest of the four children.-
