Sarah was born on December 12th, 1807 in Tennessee. Sarah's father was John Gordon Brown and her mother was Mary Ann Keicher. Her paternal grandparents are Jacob Brown and Ruth Gordon; her maternal grandparents were Conrad Keicher and Margaret Lyerle. She had two brothers named James M. and John Gordon. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 79 on October 7th, 1887 in Kingston, Madison Co., Arkansas.-
